Are you a creature of habit? Do you do things that seem odd to others but make total sense to you?
I buy pairs of things - two packages of rotary cutting blades, two packages of needles, and so on. One for now and one for the next time I need it. Makes sense, right? Except that having recently moved, I found all those "extras" I had put away and then either couldn't find or forgot about when I needed them.
Did you sew this weekend?
I did!
Hi everyone!
This is Kimberly over at Fat Quarter Shop. Pardon my quick interruption, Moda has graciously allowed me a little post to talk about the new Snapshots Quilt-Along starting right now over at our blog, the Jolly Jabber. I could go on and on about this quilt-along, but I'll try to keep it short!
Karey Bresenhan’s reason for opening a quilt shop was not typical. Well, in part it was—she loved fabrics and quilts. But the less typical reason was that she needed a way to pay bills generated by her run for state legislator. “It seemed perfectly reasonable to me at the time,” she says.
