In preparing to head to Market, I’ve been thinking about when I started going and how Market has changed in the intervening years. My first Quilt Market was in fall, 2008, and I was gob-smacked at all there was to see. That hasn’t changed.
To synchronize your watch, at 9:00 am on Tuesday morning, it will officially be 96 hours until the announcement is made... "Ladies and Gentlemen, Fall International Quilt Market is now officially open."
Or something like that.
We'll be there. And we'll be celebrating.

Do you have days where you have a plan - a list! - of what you need to get done and then it all goes haywire before you even get started? Even though you've gotten a whole lot done by the end of the day, you haven't touched any of the things on your list. That's what it's been like this week for most everybody in the office - that's what it's like getting ready for Quilt Market.
