As per usual, Quilt Market was a feast for the eyes. As someone who was a camper and counselor for ten summers, I loved Camp Moda. There were so many perfect touches I practically burst into a chorus Kumbaya. (Luckily for everyone there, I restrained myself.)
There's plenty to catch up with so let's get busy.
Camp Moda hadn't officially opened for the day so it was still quiet - and the fireflies were being lit. The table and chair covers are created for each Market to fit the booth theme, and yes, they are re-used for other things throughout the coming year. They are eventually sold in the warehouse.
Yesterday was our travel day home from Quilt Market - the group comprising the "our" being the take-down crew.
Wednesday morning to Sunday evening - Spring Quilt Market 2016 from start to finish. It still surprises me that what takes two days to build comes down in a little over two hours.
More about Market tomorrow - I've had a few techie-issues that disrupted my plans.
Welcome to Camp Moda!
Or Spring International Quilt Market 2016 - in Salt Lake City, Utah. Where the power went out last night sometime after 10:00 pm - and stayed off for I'm not sure how long. (I fell asleep.)
