Can you believe that January is almost over?
Weeks and weeks ago, I shared the answers to some silly questions I asked of the Moda designers. I wrote then that I'd be back "shortly" with more. Apparently, "shortly" is a bit longer time period than I thought.
So let me get to it - this is what I asked everyone:
Feeling judged. It’s kind of a downer, isn’t it? Unless you're talking about quilt shows.
That’s because there’s much to be learned by screwing up your courage, entering a show, and letting your work be subjected to scrutiny. So say quilters Christa Watson and Judy Adams.
I've always liked - and remembered - the line from the movie, Twister... "Julia, I gotta go... we got cows." Now, after months of waiting, I think we can do just a skosh better." Julia - I gotta go... we got cake!"
